RTA 3.0 is a spin-off of a Dutch government sponsored project that started in 2007, with ESAMI (Tanzania).
The objective of RTA is to develop sustainable business opportunities, in Africa. RTA is supported by research of students at bachelor, master and doctoral level. Students whose research theses and projects, contribute to academic and professional knowledge on social and economic development, can apply for a (partial) RTA scholarship.
Currently, RTA is sponsoring Nigerian students at bachelor, master and doctoral level with 60% partial scholarships, for projects on logistics management. These programmes are in partnership with Swiss School of Management, and the Nigerian Courier Logistics and Management Institute (CLMI). The degrees are awarded by Swiss School of Management. While SSM is fully responsible for the quality and validity of the internationally accredited and Swiss certified degrees, StatMind coordinates the research program that sponsored students contribute to.
